Hi, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We’re glad you enjoyed your visit. It means a lot to us to be part of this community, sharing the kind of coffee and space we care about with good folks like you. Stop by again anytime — the door’s always open. Warmly, Josh
I got the Orient Espresso, Costa Rico, and Ethiopian beans, as well as the almond and hazelnut biscotti. To say that it was the best coffee I have ever had would be an understatement. The coffee is extremely smooth and is exactly what they advertise. More importantly, the whole team is incredible and you can tell they take pride in their products. I have not had the pleasure of going to the cafe, but based on the product and customer service, I know that they are the real deal.
Thank you for this, it means a lot to hear. We care deeply about what we put into the bag and the experience around it, so knowing it landed with you like this is a real reward. If you ever make it to the café, we’d love to welcome you in person. Until then, enjoy those beans and biscotti.
Normally I wouldn't give a poor review but I think something needs to change here. Last times I was here the coffee was borderline undrinkable. A lot has changed since the owners changed. I don't know if I just come in on the wrong days and get a bad batch, or maybe the NYC tourists giving reviews aren't being objective, but I've regretted coming here every time and not getting 7-11 coffee which is leagues above it. It used to be so good too.
Just had an amazing experience and picked these for Mother’s Day at Aldos Coffee in Greenport. The handcrafted organic coffee, fresh roasted beans, and chocolate-dipped hazelnut biscotti made for such a thoughtful and delicious gift. You can really taste the quality and tradition that’s made this place a North Fork favorite for decades. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and authentic — exactly what you hope for in a local coffee shop. Friendly service, incredible aroma the moment you walk in, and products that feel made with care. If you’re visiting Greenport, this spot is absolutely worth the stop. Highly recommend the Costa Rica roast and the biscotti! ☕❤️
Thank you for sharing this — it means a lot to hear we could be a part of your Mother’s Day plans. We care deeply about everything we make and are glad it came through in the coffee and biscotti. Hope to see you again next time you’re in Greenport.
The espresso is truly good—Italian style.
Thanks for saying that. We care a lot about making coffee that respects tradition, so it means a lot to hear you enjoyed the espresso. Hope to see you again soon. – Josh
Felt rushed when giving our order of what I wanted. Worker was not nice. Coffee was not the best
An awesome place, very cozy and great quality. Everyone so friendly and welcoming definitely the place to go
Thank you for spending some time with us and for the kind words. It's good to know the space and the coffee felt right to you—that’s what we’re here for. Hope to see you again soon.

I’ve frequented aldo’s back in the early 2000’s when i lived in southold. I called Aldo the the Willy Wonker of coffee. Everything was delicious. My go to was a coffee and a scone. Aldo used to hand pour over coffee grinds each cup. Touch of personal care, and it was delicious. I visited Aldo’s this morning for the first time since he sold. Today, my coffee was poured out of a urn and was a very ordinary cup of coffee that can be had at any convenience store. Staff was great, atmosphere also still good…but the coffee. I will say the scone was just as good. Aldo’s management, you should go back to Also’s touch. Good luck
Steven — really appreciate you coming back in and taking the time to share this. You’re right about the old days — everything used to be hand-poured, and that level of care is something we think about constantly. Over time, we had to make a call: either raise prices significantly or find a way to keep coffee accessible for everyone. We chose to keep a 12oz cup at $3.25, which meant moving to a batch brew — but we’re still using the same fresh-roasted beans behind it. That said, your point lands. The experience matters just as much as the product, and we don’t take that lightly. If you’re around again, I’d genuinely love to make you an Americano the way you remember — on us. Feel free to reach out at info@aldoscoffee.com or just stop in and ask for me. Thanks again for the honest feedback — it helps keep us sharp. – Josh
